Our team of educators have spent many hours researching and implementing the latest travel trends to create a curriculum based on the following text.  The cost of all classroom materials is $300.  Books cannot be sold separately from the Travel Agent Training Class.

   


Exploring the World by Nona Starr - Familiarity of worldwide tourist destinations is a must for anyone interested in the travel and tourism industry.  This book takes an extensive look at famous landmarks, places of interest, and customs and cultures travelers experience both domestically and abroad.  Our course begins with an enjoyable journey Exploring The World.

Geography Workbook by 1st Class Travel & Tourism Academy
In conjunction with the Exploring the World textbook, this fun-filled workbook contains questions, valuable websites, points of interest and recipes pertaining to each chapter. 

Air Travel Manual by 1st Class Travel & Tourism Academy -  In an easy to understand format, the Air Travel Manual takes a look at the fare structures, rules and regulations, and policies of the airlines.  Additionally, this manual discusses the trials and tribulations of traveling both domestically and abroad such as: travel health, passports and visas, safety and security overseas, traveling with pets, and much, much more. 

Successful Sales and Marketing Manual by 1st Class Travel & Tourism Academy - A knowledge of the travel industry is important to effectively sell vacations but it's not enough.  The Successful Sales and Marketing Manual was written specifically for the travel industry.  Students learn how to market their services by writing and promoting a marketing plan.  They are guided through writing an advertisement and promoting their services inexpensively.  The second part of the manual teaches sales techniques and sales closings and how to handle objections.  In conclusion, this sales manual shows students how to avoid errors and maintain organization and becoming a home-based travel agent.

Sabre Manual by 1st Class Travel & Tourism Academy - Learning Sabre is easy with our step by step technique.  Used in conjunction with Sabre software, students work at their own pace with complete instructor supervision.  At the completion of this book, students can make airline, hotel and car reservations with confidence.  Codes and "Cheat Sheets" are included.
